Hi there, so I have been quite busy in the last week or two with work and trying to do some other things. I use a great website called FutureLearn, to do online courses. I love to learn and am always trying to improve myself and my knowledge. I want to do a postgraduate qualification at some point (when I have £7,500) so in the mean time I am doing online course to show that I still want to learn and show improvement and making good use of my time.
Whilst not trying to study or work last week I watched a film called Annihilation. It is an adaptation of the first book in a trilogy by Jeff VanderMeer. I read a description of some of the plot of the novel, the movie is VERY different in some ways, including some large plot changes and character alterations. However, it was a fantastic movie and I am going to read the book just so I can experience the rest of the story the way the author intended it to be. I think the cinematography and the animations were truly a work of art, and I feel like that is true to the way the author imagined it.
A definite must see, starring Natalie Portman. Actually only one male lead, half a dozen female leads which makes it very interesting and different to a lot of films.
