So last night after writing my review of Blood Vow I started reading another book to settle down before going to bed. As it happened it wasn’t a long book so I stayed up till 1am to finish it. In my defence it was a good book.
Son of No One is a novel in the Dark Hunter Series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I really enjoyed it! The main character Cadegan is an ancient welsh warrior, and so he uses some welsh in his dialogue, I lived in wales for my 3 years at University so I it was great to see some of that in modern fiction. Cadegan meets Jo (Josette) when she falls through a hole into the hell dimension. Jo is a friend of Grace Alexander (Julian of Macedon’s wife, from the very first novel) and she knows several of the other girls who feature in earlier novels.
We meet a dragon type were, morgen who is part of the Arthur and the round table era. Apt as this novel is part of the Lords of Avalon series. (See the
Sherrilyn Kenyon page with a table which details novels in each sub-series.)
I love writing these reviews but I would hate to give away too much of the plot, if you have an feedback about writing reviews or what you want to know about a novel in future reviews.
